Love Statement

“I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit, I was in prison and you came to me. Then those ‘sheep’ are going to say, ‘Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say,
‘I’m telling you the solemn truth:
Whenever you did one of those things to someone overlooked and ignored, that was me—you did it to me.’”

We are not only helping
someone else, because when we do it to the least of these, we have done it unto Him.


Love Goal

We are asking everyone in the church to give up one meal a month and give that money, whether it be $5, $7, or $10, as an offering on the third Sunday of the month. The money that is given will be used specifically to help hurting people in need in our community, our country, and around the world.
Love is not a feeling or an emotion that is used or disposed of at our convenience.
Love is an action; love is a verb.
Love:Active is a program designed to
create an opportunity for people to do something about the needs of other people, not merely talk about it.

Monthly Outreach

Our Love Active monthly community outreach is the third Sunday of each month at the church from 4 to 5 pm. If you would like to volunteer to serve come at 3pm and ask for Tony De May. Let him know in what area you would like to help and be part of our Love Active team!

Opportunities to make your love active:

• Kidz Rock On The Sidewalk (ministering to the children, fun and games)
• More Than Food (feeding the hungry)
• New 2 Me Clothing (clothes for those in need)
• Rock Kutz (hair cutting ministry)
• Medical Missions (health information and resources)
